Leather Belt Bag with Celtic Embossing

This belt bag is handcrafted from 3–3.2mm thick genuine leather in a mustard-brown finish. The front flap is embossed with a Celtic knot pattern and secured with a solid brass clasp that allows quick access while keeping contents secure. Two leather belt loops on the back fit belts up to 3" (7.5cm) wide. The thick leather construction allows the bag to hold its shape well and resist sagging over time. The leather will develop a beautiful patina with use.

Belt bags were common across medieval Europe from roughly the 11th century onward, worn by men and women at the hip or waist. They served as the primary means of carrying daily essentials such as coins, keys, and small tools. Celtic knotwork was a decorative motif used widely across the British Isles and Ireland, appearing on metalwork, manuscripts, and personal accessories throughout the early and high medieval periods.
